Basecamp
accommodation for 2
in the SCOTTISH highlands

58 Degrees North (or 57.89 to be precise) on the west coast of Scotland, Basecamp is the perfect place to set yourself up for a week of adventure or just pure relaxation. Explore this wild landscape on foot, by mountain bike or on the water and then come home to Basecamp, situated on the edge of Loch Broom in the village of Ullapool.

Basecamp

Basecamp is contemporary accommodation for two, nestled on the western edge of the village of Ullapool. It's interior, inspired by the surrounding landscape, is designed to offer a cosy and relaxing experience, with a touch of luxury. Overlooking Loch Broom with views of Beinn nam Ban, you can watch the ferry pass by while having your breakfast. In the evening, stroll to one of the many restaurants for supper then come back to watch the sun go down over the Summer Isles...... and finally (on a clear night) watch the stars from your bed.

We moved here to Ullapool after falling in love with this wonderful part of the west coast. It is a place of extremes: its mountainous ruggedness to its beautiful white sandy beaches, its banshee winds to its stunning blue skies, wild energy outside and coorie doon (Nestling or snuggling in) inside.

Our stays are for 3 nights or more, to give you time to slow down. Our community has many things to offer for you to enjoy..... be it food, art or music, the green therapies of our environment or the outdoor activities on our doorstep.

Our goal for Basecamp, is to have a positive impact on our community, our guests and the wonderful environment we live in.

We look forward to welcoming you to Basecamp.
